NINA VERA RIGLIN (nee PARSONS) June 17, 1928 December 8, 2009 Nina was a kind and benevolent woman active in numerous events and activities to improve living conditions of those around her and benefit society at large. She slipped away peacefully with Walter and her children by her side through her last hours. Nina lived her life fully and will be missed by those who knew and loved her. Nina is survived by her loving companion of four years Walter Burdeny (Winnipeg, MB), children; Gloria Jean Holland (Yorkton, SK), Kerry (Heather) Riglin (Consort, AB), Birdie (David) Davidchuk (Winnipeg, MB), Glenda (Lori) Riglin (Victoria, BC), Rowland (Cathy) Riglin (Ottawa, ON); 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; Nina was pre-deceased by her husband of 45 years Frank Riglin, her parents Henry and Vera Parsons, and her brother Ralph Parsons. A service of remembrance will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 in the Chapel at Amber Meadow Retirement Residence, 320 Pipeline Road. A second memorial service will be held in Eston, SK. in the spring with interment to follow.
